Girl Scout Cookie Dessert Menu at Parallel Post

PARALLEL POST AND GIRL SCOUTS OF CONNECTICUT

UNVEIL GIRL SCOUT COOKIE INSPIRED DESSERT MENU

Savor Sweet Treats Accented with Nostalgic Samoas®, Thin Mints® and More Starting Friday, January 23 in Honor of the 2015 Girl Scout Cookie Season

Parallel Post will debut their limited-time-only dessert menu featuring the iconic Girl Scout cookie collection by working together with Girl Scouts of Connecticut.  For the first time in Parallel Post’s history, an exclusive dessert menu will be prepared with Girl Scout Samoas®, Thin Mints®, Do-Si-Dos®, and Trefoils®. To commemorate the kick off of the 2015 Girl Scout Cookie season, Parallel Post’s Executive Chef Chris Molyneux and Pastry Chef Madelyn Rendon teamed up to conceptualize and perfect recipes to best accentuate the unmatched sugar, chocolate, caramel, coconut and mint flavorings of select Girl Scout Cookies.

“We are delighted that Parallel Post has conceptualized our cookies in such an original way,” said Mary Barneby, CEO, Girl Scouts of Connecticut. “We are especially honored for their support in purchasing these cookies from our girls as they continue with this special dessert menu through February. Those dining at Parallel Post will not only get a sweet treat, but will learn more about what the Cookie Program gives girls – the skills she needs to thrive, succeed, and become a young entrepreneur!”

In addition to Parallel Post’s existing dessert menu offerings, the exclusive Girl Scout Cookie-inspired dessert options (priced at $5) will include:

This limited engagement menu series of jaw dropping desserts will be available through Saturday, February 28. However, Girl Scouts of Connecticut’s cookie season won’t officially end until the end of March.  Don’t forget to support your local troop!

ABOUT GIRL SCOUTS OF CONNECTICUT & THE COOKIE PROGRAM
We’re more than 55,000 members strong—girls and adults—who believe that every girl can change the world.  We’re part of a sisterhood of 2.8 million around the globe.  It all began more than 100 years ago with one woman, Juliette Gordon Low, who believed in the power of one girl.  We continue her vision of building girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. At Girl Scouts, we believe that there’s a chance for every girl to do something amazing.  We are Girl Scouts of Connecticut.  For more information, please visit www.gsofct.org.
