Back to School - Back to Simon at Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets in Connecticut

Back To School, Back To Simon:

Shoppers Invited to “Find Your Style” At Simon This Fall

Here's my first day of high school - when I was trying to find my style!

How about that Peter Pan collar??

That's ME!!!
Circa the 1970's!

On August 1st, Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets  kicked off its 2016 Back To School season with a TV commercial and digital video campaign encouraging shoppers to ‘find your style’ while reflecting on their past first days of school and the outfits that were the height of fashion in the 80s and 90s

(Hey! What happened to the 70s???? Or was that so very last year with fringed clothing???)

You can join in the fun too! (and embarrass your children while you're at it!)

The campaign will be amplified through social media using the hashtag #tbtbts (Throw Back Thursday Back To Simon), inviting people to share their most memorable back-to-school photos for a chance to win Simon gift cards and $5,000 shopping spree.

Sounds like FUN - and a great way to enter for a shopping trip!

This campaign is targeted to feature three seasonal trends inspired by 80s and 90s fashions - Off-Beat, Modern Utility and 90’s Nostalgia - that can all be found at Simon.

In addition to the campaign, Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets is holding a Back to School Sidewalk Sale offering visitors a great opportunity to find their perfect style with discounts on top of the regular everyday savings of 25 to 65 percent.

The sale runs Friday, August 5 through Sunday, August 7.

“Back to school shoppers spend more during this season than they do during Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day combined, so we want to make sure the experience is a pleasurable one that appeals to students and parents alike,” said Kathleen Mones, director of marketing and business development of Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets. “Our campaign celebrates the fashion trends of the past and today – the evolution of fashion and mixing the old with the new to ‘Find Your Style’”.

Enjoy the Remaining Days of Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets’ Summer Entertainment Series and enjoy the following schedule of free live entertainment and activities from 1 to 4 p.m. outside of Gap Factory Store at Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets. Highlights include performances by Nicholas Fradiana Sr., father of 2015 American Idol winner Nick Fradiani:

  • August 5 – Complimentary face painting
  • August 6 – Nicholas Fradiani Sr.
  • August 7 – DJ Antanas
  • August 13 – Nicholas Fradiani Sr.
  • August 20 – Sonic Nation Band
Hope to see you soon at Clinton Crossing!
