This year’s Most Innovative Chefs, as well as Stewart, will be honored at the festival’s opening event, the Opening Night Gala on Friday 9-20-19, where they will present “The Big Easy” honoring Martha Stewart.  The evening, hosted by Gary Dell’Abate (Executive Producer of The Howard Stern Show, “Baba Booey”) and Rob Burnett (five-time Emmy Award-Winning Writer- Director), will showcase the culinary and music scene of New Orleans, featuring the cuisine of this year’s talented chefs, as well as a number of Festival Ambassador Chefs.  The evening will include performances from GRAMMY award-winning Rebirth Brass Band and Kermit Ruffins & The Barbecue Swingers.

Great news!  The 2019 Greenwich Wine + Food Festival presented by PepsiCo is proud to announce GRAMMY Award-winning band Little Big Town as this year’s musical headliner.  The festival will benefit Food Rescue US, a national non-profit organization committed to reducing both hunger and food waste across the country.

The ninth annual charitable event, which has donated nearly $1 million to various causes since it began, commences Friday, September 20th with the Master Chef Wine Gala emceed by Gary Dell’Abate (Executive Producer of The Howard Stern Show “BabaBooey”) and Rob Burnett (Five-time Emmy Award-Winning Writer-Director). 

The experience then unfolds on Saturday, September 21st into a full day of eating, drinking, chef demos, book signings and more, with the weekend closing out with an exciting performance by Little Big Town. Their latest album debuted #1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and Top 5 on the Billboard 200 All Genre chart. In the past 7 years they have won over 20 awards, including GRAMMY, CMA, ACM, People's Choice Awards and also an Emmy. 

The Greenwich Wine + Food Festival, located in Roger Sherman Baldwin Park in Greenwich, CT, offers ticket holders a unique, up close encounter with nationally-recognized and regional stars of food, wine, spirits and entertainment. Get ready for the intimate Friday night Master Chef Wine Gala showcasing the culinary and music scene of New Orleans, including performances from GRAMMY Award-winning Rebirth Brass Band and Kermit Ruffins & The Barbecue Swingers.

Saturday features the incredible Culinary Village, home to the Grand Tasting tent, where guests can enjoy tastings and demonstrations from more than 150 of the area’s finest food, wine and spirits experts. 

Other tents in the Culinary Village will feature the best in burgers, BBQ, tacos and more.

If you follow my website you know I love a good wine and food festival - especially when they are held in my native Connecticut! Fairfield County has it going on every year with the Greenwich Wine and Food Festival, and Mystic County has Mohegan Sun's Wine and Food Fest.

And now Hartford County has answered the call 

with the West Hartford Wine and Food Festival!

That right! The VERY First Annual West Hartford Wine & Food Festival is coming Saturday, June 17th from 1-6pm at Kingswood Oxford School

I attended a preview event for the festival few weeks back at Maximum Beverage that showcased just a few of the foods and wines that will be featured from some of Hartford County's favorite places! There will be OVER thirty local restaurants, farms and bakeries. (AND ALL are included in your ticket price!)

Connecticut's Own Celebrity Chef - Scott Conant -To Host Master Chef Wine Dinner

Connecticut's own Celebrity chef Scott Conant, best known for his "Chopped" judging gig, will be Friday’s honoree; the Food Network star and famed restaurateur will talk about innovation in the restaurant industry and introduce the area’s top chefs who have been named Most Innovative and Ambassador chefs.

“Chef Conant’s fantastic New York City restaurants like L’Impero and Alto have made his name synonymous with innovation, so it’s only fitting that he’ll be introducing the incredible lineup of chefs in this region who also push the culinary envelope,” said Suni Unger, Founder and CEO of Serendipity and the GREENWICH WINE+FOOD FESTIVAL.  “We’re also thrilled to have festival favorite Adam Richman back as a special guest who will mix and mingle with Friday night guests!”

This year Sun Wine and Food Fest includes signature dishes from New England’s finest restaurants. THE 2016 GREENWICH WINE+FOOD FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES CULINARY VILLAGE PARTICIPANTS

The sixth annual GREENWICH WINE+FOOD FESTIVAL, presented by Serendipity magazine ([http://www.serendipitysocial.com) benefitting Paul Newman's Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, Wholesome Wave and The Greenwich Department of Parks and Reicreation, has announced the 200+ food and beverage participants that will be taking part in the centerpiece of the entire festival, the Culinary Village, on Saturday, September 24 from 12:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park in Greenwich.

The multi-day event will also include Friday’s Master Chef Dinner, hosted by Adam Richman, with food, wine and cocktails from this year’s class of Most Innovative Chefs and Ambassador Chefs from Connecticut and New York, and a live concert by The Bacon Brothers (tickets start at $325 per person).
