The Roger Sherman Inn Invites You

to a Very Special Viewing of
The Royal Wedding of

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
Saturday, May 19, 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM
$40.00 per person

I was hoping someone would do this - and the Roger Sherman Inn didn't let me down! The fairytale wedding of the unconventional Prince Harry and his American bride-to-be Meghan Markel takes place on Saturday, May 19 at St George's Chapel on the  grounds of Windsor Castle.

A live viewing of this highly anticipated event will take place at the historical Roger Sherman Inn on the grounds of 195 Oenoke Ridge in the charming town of New Canaan, CT.

The wedding airs live at 7:00 AM with the nuptials set to begin at 8:00 AM and will be shown on large screen TVs throughout the Inn.

Roger Sherman Inn's guests are invited to partake in the Royal Wedding celebration over champagne cocktails and a lavish buffet breakfast, complete with elderflower and lemon scones, the flavors of Harry and Meghan’s wedding cake.

Joining in the festivities will be a special guest, former footman to Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Diana of Wales, Mr. Chris Ely. Mr. Ely will share with guests his experiences from his time spent at Buckingham Palace and many of the state and private residences of the British Royal family performing estate management duties.  Upon arriving in the states, Mr. Ely was the personal butler to the elusive Mrs. Brooke Astor.

“This is the one wedding where you can come as are - casual Saturday morning attire with a fanciful hat, perhaps?,” teases Roger Sherman Inn owner and creative soiree planner Nes Jaffre,” We host a lot of weddings at our beautiful New England inn but this will be our first daybreak wedding and we can’t wait!”

Reservations are required and can be made by calling (203) 966-4541

$40 per person (plus tax/gratuity)

  1. Should be an amazing event to watch. I remember the publicity that Prince William and Kate received during their wedding. Thanks for the share, keep up the posts. Have a nice rest of your week.
